Earlier in November, Grime Originals returned to their spiritual home at the Fire club in Vauxhall. Featuring a whole host of both established and up-and-coming MCs and DJs from across the country. What has now been regarded as one of the biggest moments of the night, Sir Spyro‘s set, featured a whole host of talent, including a very notable presence of some of Birmingham‘s best.

Kicking off with Jammz, it didn’t take long for the midlands takeover to begin, as OG NODB members Deadly, Mayhem NODB and Ace1 NODB begin to collect reloads in quick succession. If that wasn’t enough, 0121 veterans Tornado and NODB‘s Fiasco drop rapid flows over Sir Spyro‘s on-point instrumental selection, with the energy boiling over once Trilla Tremaine Trilloski touches mic, garnering a reload of his own before even spitting a single bar.

The set wasn’t entirely dominated by the Birmingham massive though, as London‘s own Narst, Capo Lee, and PK bring their heaviest bars. Following this, Snowy, Footsie, and Saint P maintain the pace set throughout the night, with reloads coming thick and fast from every MC that sprayed. Concluding the set, veteran MCs So Large and Stamina Boy came through with weighty lyrics before a very rare appearance from Jay Amo rounded off the night.
