Following a hiatus after an epic run that saw him on Fire in the Booth and recognised by household names from both the UK and USA, and millions of digital streams, Hackney‘s own Shivz is back with his latest full-length project “Blockbuster Success”
Shivz puts his full versatility on display in the project, providing a whole host of sounds belonging to some of the biggest UK-centric genres, from the pure rap inspired ‘Rodeo Drive‘, ‘Lights, Camera, Action‘, and ‘4 A.M. In Miami‘, to the Afro-beats and Dancehall flavours of ‘Ochi Rios‘ and ‘Yamaha‘, and, of course, the infectious Grime energy found in ‘Unacceptable‘ (which features Glox), the high-octane 16-bar rally tune (aptly) titled ‘Rally‘ featuring FACE, Glox, and Krucial, and we can’t forget about (arguably) the biggest track on the album ‘Rile Up‘, which features the Grime godfather Wiley.
A truly dynamic body of work, with the mastermind behind it unafraid to switch up the genre on a whim and a solid product after 3 years of development.
