UK Jazz quintet Ezra Collective team up with South London Grime MC Novelist on their most recent track ‘More Than A Hustler‘.

Following on from their previous collaboration with JME and Swindle on ‘Quest For Coin II‘, ‘More Than A Hustler‘ sees Ezra Collective unite the worlds of Grime and Jazz once again. With both Ezra Collective and Novelist known for pushing boundaries with their music, the link up allows us to see how well the two genres compliment each other.

Ezra Collective bandleader Femi Koleoso had this to say on the recent release:

“The marriage of Grime and Jazz started for us when we’d play covers of JME instrumentals. That journey continued with ‘Quest For Coin II’, and this latest instalment features an MC who, like us, has a deep love for pushing the boundaries of music. ‘More Than A Hustler’ is the tale of how we are consistently on the quest for greatness, and how we are more than just that journey – way more.”
