Established in 2009, UD‘s Industry Takeover has cemented itself as a springboard to help launch the careers of people looking to work in and around music and other creative industries. Offering “an unrivalled programme of professional development, entertainment, education and networking opportunities” to young people, the event has also previously seen appearances and contributions from leading figures in Grime such as Novelist, J2K, and Big Zuu, alongside countless names involved in radio and other music media.

As part of the event, heavyweight UK culture online magazine TRENCH has announced a panel called “Exploring 20 Years Of Grime: From RWD To TRENCH“, which will feature appearances from some of the most influential figures in Grime made up of Jammer, Manager (and sister) of Wiley Janaya Cowie, ‘This Is Grime‘ author Hattie Collins, TRENCH Contributing Editor Yemi Abiade, and RWD writer Raj Kapone

The combined minds on the panel offer a wealth of experience and insight into the world of Grime, and will explore Grime from their own different perspectives.
