After having already shaken the table with the release of the SK Air Max Tailwind V earlier this year, Skepta and Nike have joined forces once again for their latest collaborative release: the Skepta x Nike SK Phantom football boots.

The SK Phantom follows a long line of sell-out sneaker trainer collaborations by the Grime legend and the sportswear giant, being predated by the Air Max 97 SK, Air Max 97/BW Sk Air II, Nike Air Max Deluxe SK, the SK Shox TL, and the aforementioned SK Air Max V, but this is the first time the SK label has been incorporated into the world of football (despite Skepta and Nike co-creating custom BBK x Nike football jerseys in 2017 for their O2 takeover)

The SK Phantom comes in a menacing red & black colourway, with chrome highlights on the Nike tick and cleats, and is expected to release in time for the return of the 2021 European Championships on June 13th. It’s set to release alongside another colourway of the SK AirMax Tailwind V. This time in the same red and black as the Phantom boots.
