Hi! I’m Lozzy C, and I curate Wheel Up Wednesdays for Keepin It Grimy. I round up my favourite radio sets from the past 7 days, showcasing the best instrumentals, blends, and mixes from the wizards behind the decks, and delving into all aspects of Grime, 140, garage, and more.

I love when I’m able to share a platform for the first time on here, so big up Travs for curating a wicked show on Kindred this week. This time on Travs PresentsSI*BL went B2B with Chamber45, and RenzSquintzP from LeeYDImperial and PK Brako graced the microphone.

Mic Ty’s Tyson EP dropped last week, and he went on Oblig’s Rinse FM show for a chat and a set. Not the first time these two have linked up, and what a pleasure it was to listen to. They’re two people at the top of their game, and deserve all the plaudits that come their way.

Keeping it Rinse, It’s always a pleasure locking in to the IAMGRIME show. There’s always so many unreleased gems and fantastic guests. They called this show Jammz vs Mr Furious. As Jammz tweeted, this is “1 MC 1DJ settings”. Bars from the IAG general and Furious playing percys for the entire two hours. Elite radio.

Now to Mode London, where DTM invited down Grime and Dubstep titans Youngsta and Kromestar to go B2B, with the legend Crazy D hosting. The riddims in this set are unbelievable. Someone book these two to go B2B at a festival this summer; I promise it will go OFF!

A 2nd appearance in a row for Medley P on Wheel Up Wednesday. The guy is working hard and you have to respect that. This time he’s put together an absolutely massive set for his birthday. He went B2B with Benteki, J Oh Zee and Charisma (I know pretty insane, init) and RazorKabz, RenzSquintz Mayday Mayo on mic. Happy Birthday, Medley!

The first appearance for producer Hitpoint. His production mix for Kenyon Sound is a great listen. Hitpoint’s production has really come along over the past year or so, and there’s a lot of variation across the melodies, drum patterns and sound in this mix. Keep up the good work, mate!

Finally, I’m sure you’ll have at least heard of the various Grime Twitter Spaces that have been very active recently. They do tend to split opinions as to whether they are productive or not. However, I am confident in saying that the producer battles we’ve been spoilt with are the best thing to come out of them. On Cadell’s #NOBIAS space, we’ve seen a lot of different battles. My favourites, however, were Logan vs JME, and Blay vs Preditah. I don’t need to tell you the levels were sky-high for both of these…

These links are for the first rounds of both clashes. The other rounds are available on Grime Skeen’s YouTube Channel.
