Hi! I’m Lozzy C, and I curate Wheel Up Wednesdays for Keepin It Grimy. I round up my favourite radio sets from the past 7 days, showcasing the best instrumentals, blends, and mixes from the wizards behind the decks, and delving into all aspects of Grime, 140, garage, and more.

I love a Payback set. I think they’re a top collective in the scene; full of talent, incredible work rate and their releases are just as good as their radio sets. For this one, Kirby T was joined by Tommy BRolla & Agz on Reprezent RadioKirby kicks off the set with two beautifully smooth tunes, and the energy builds from there.

Next, I had to go to Mode London for Spooky’s #Nightshift show on Mode. Three hours of perfect blends that take you across the entire Grime spectrum. Also… I am the only one that thinks Spooky’s ability as a presenter isn’t spoken about enough? He’s got a concise and really entertaining style, but he’s doing this while holding a blend in his headphones. 20 years in the game and the proof’s in the pudding. Happy Birthday, Spooky!

AS.IF KID is a Grime producer with releases on Rotpot, Slimzos & more. In this hour-long mix on Subtle Radio he showcases his DJing abilities as well. Hard-hitting Grime, enjoy!

I was live in the Reprezent studio to watch Medley P’s Guest mix for Really Rare Radio. This guest-mix, however, had a big (if not several) twists. In half and hour, Medley went from 130-160 BPM, from A-Z (song and artist name) and playing anything but the original song. Really not sure how he pulled it off, but as you can now watch, he did.

Finishing off this week’s column with an absolute belter of a UKG mix from Sammy Virji for Meltout Crew’s Reprezent show.  Sammy’s productions are so smooth, but so heavy simultaneously, and I think that’s a perfect description for this mix.
