My favourite sets and mixes from the past seven days.

Oblig invited Kruz Leone down to his Rinse FM show last week for an interview and set. He talked about the origin of his slide tackle bar and his new tune “Slide” before jumping into a set for the last ten minutes. I’m a big fan of the shorter solo sets, I feel like it’s a perfect amount of time for an MC to squeeze in all the bars they want to and let off as much steam as they like. Kruz does just this, but he hits new heights on this with the riddims Oblig is throwing at him.

J Oh Zee was running some 140 filth for her set with TintzDizzle KidTina Tami, and Lady Shocker. The kind of Grime bangers that MCs dream of getting fed with in the rave. Loved taking in Tina Tami’s bars in this one. Plenty of clarity, energy and originality there. Looking forward to seeing her on the radio more.

Selecta Impact. I always love listening to his Mode London shows because it’s two hours of beautiful, melodic and cruddy Grime and Drill tunes. This show definitely leans more towards the Grime, but there’s still so much variation. This show is packed with exclusive tunes and crazy blends. Very flew fly the flag for Grime DJs the way that Impact does. Serious, serious selecta.
