Born in Bermondsey but raised in Dagenham, Devlin found his love for music through old school Garage around the age of 12 but it wasn’t until he heard Sharky Major on the radio that he would really find his love for the darker sound of Grime. Tuning in to weekly radio sets, Devlin found himself writing lyrics of his own before going onto join O.T Crew, a well established Dagenham collective at the time. Building a fanbase of his own through sets on Rinse FM, Devlin would build a fanbase of his own before becoming a member of The Movement alongside Ghetts, Wretch 32 and Scorcher just to name a few. Achieving his first hint of chart success in 2010 with the release of ‘Brainwashed‘ taken from his debut album ‘Bud, Sweat and Tears‘, Devlin would go on to give us a total of 5 studio albums, including features from all generations of the UK music scene including Ed Sheeran, JME, Potter Payper, Tommy B and countless others. Cementing himself as a staple in not just the Grime scene, Devlin’s work will go on to live forever.
